Opportunities for outdoor exploration are everywhere in the northwest of the United States. Northern California for example, has the refreshing waters of the Pacific Ocean, the majestic vistas of Yosemite National Park, and the craggy peaks of the Cascades.
Hailing from the area—San Francisco to be exact—Bomber & Company has set out to “create a company that represents all the stuff we would day dream about while at work: exploration, excitement, and memories”, says the company’s PR spokeswoman Sarah Buckley.
After several successful Kickstarter product launches, Bomber & Company is at it again, this time on Indiegogo. The self-described “minimalist designers, explorers, and adventurers” will surely deliver yet again.
The latest edition to the Bomber family is the Paracord. Per the campaign’s page, paracord was originally used in parachutes in WWII. Its high tensile strength supported a lot of weight and lasted for a long time. Bomber & Company has incorporated the material into its Paracord Keychain and Paracord Bracelet.
The keychain utilizes one-and-a-half meters of paracord, while the later utilizes three. The cord itself can support up to 550 pounds. Also incorporated into the design is a flint and steal firestarter. Backers can enjoy any combination of the two paracords, as well as a Bomber Barrel Duffle Bag or Travel Kit.
Bomber & Company has a strong following with over 12,000 backers from the latest two campaigns equaling over $800,000 in pledges. “Our success is that we have built a loyal fan base within the community," says Buckley.
“We hope to be able to expand our paracord product line within the next few years. It’s only a matter of time before people have that itch to go out and explore. We want to be there for the entire journey of the experience.”
With only a week to go in the campaign Bomber & Company is expecting a solid POP from the Paracord.
