Are you always adjusting the keys in your pocket to avoid the uncomfortable (and unfashionable) bulge? And what about the noise that they make? I once had a teacher that would unknowingly jingle his keys in his pocket as he taught—and that drove me mad. Charles Ng and Rex Kuo of Melbourne, Australia are the entrepreneurs behind the Orbitkey.
The Orbitkey is a sleek and slender leather strap that surrounds the length of the keys. The ends of the strap are secured to the axis that clamps the keys close together to reduce size and eliminate jingling sounds. Apart from the many different colors, Orbitkey offers several accessories such as an 8 GB flash drive, bottle opener and attachment for larger items such as key fobs.
If I have to carry items in my pockets I prefer them to be discrete and compact. My first article was about the Dollar Wallet (refer to Thursday Recap POP 8/29/2013) which also was my Kickstarter purchase. The reason I bought backed the Dollar Wallet is the same reason that I am blogging about the Orbitkey—it is discrete and compact. It is less visible through your pocket, easier to handle and quite frankly easier to find the right key.
The Orbitkey is simple, yet provides a strong POP!
