We take many things in life for granted but it is not until
they are gone or suspended we realize their value. Some
daily items that come to my mind are a refreshing beverage, the use of a smart phone, and enjoying music. Presently, I miss each of these items as I am away from my home
country for a few months and am settling into a new culture.
Fortunately, for most of you, you have access to these
items and much more. And that access is about to become even easier thanks to inventor Ryan Grepper’s latest invention—the Coolest. Grepper lives in the Portland, Oregon area and has been inventing and improving products since 2006. His latest product enhancement is the Coolest.
The Coolest is a cooler made for the 21st century. It has many special features that, collectively, rival most of the James Bond vehicles. The Coolest includes an 18 volt rechargeable battery that runs a blender, USB charging station, LED lid lights, and waterproof Bluetooth speakers. The Coolest sits on wide beach tires so that it does not sink in the soft sand. It also has a gear tie that securely reaches over the top of the cooler and cinches tight.
Housed in an exterior panel is a bottle opener as well. The Coolest has a split lid design with a divider to serve many different purposes. You can have an all-ice side (for blended drinks), a wet/dry setup, or remove the divider entirely for bulk packing. Also recessed within the lid are plates and a ceramic knife for food preparation and serving. Again, this is a cooler for the 21st century.
This Kickstarter project (as of this writing) still has 43 days left in the campaign, yet has exploded through its benchmark goal of $50,000. The campaign has already received pledges from more than 29,000 backers to an amount in excess of $5.6 million. Grepper has really hit the nail on the head with his product—the Coolest.
For $185 you too can have the Coolest cooler, which is expected to deliver in February 2015. What a fabulous POP!
